Emma Burbidge
About Leader
A native Quebecer, Emma has been birding at Point Pelee since she was five years old. She started leading French bird hikes for the Friends in 2017, and was immediately hooked on the experience of sharing her love of birds, and of the park, with others. She worked as a student interpreter with the park for a summer before joining the resource conservation team, and is now a technician working on marsh restoration, breeding bird monitoring, and variety of other fantastic projects. After two years of delivering virtual presentations on birding, she is very excited to experience the joy of leading in-person hikes once again.
