About Leader
A native Quebecer, Emma has been birding at Point Pelee since she was five years old. She started leading French bird hikes for the Friends in 2017, and was immediately hooked on the experience of sharing her love of birds, and of the park, with others. She worked as a student interpreter with the park for a summer before joining the resource conservation team, working on marsh restoration, breeding bird monitoring, and variety of other fantastic projects. Emma has rejoined Point Pelee Visitor Experience team, as the Interpretation Coordinator and is very excited to lead hikes again this year.
