Joaquín Varela is an artist, nature interpreter, and educator. Joaquin has been teaching throughout the Toronto area for the past 10 years. Currently he is an Outdoor Educator at Humber Polytechnic’s Humber Arboretum. Passionate about connecting folks to nature, Joaquin is usually leading arts and ecology workshops, bird tours, birding series for newcomers and various community led naturalist events.
