About Leader
Dale is a Muskoka based birder with a lifelong passion for the outdoors. Originally taken Environmental Studies in post secondary Dale quickly decided that book work was not so much for him and changed to an Outdoors Program at Algonquin College. This was where he was first introduced to birdwatching and from there he was hook. After his first trip to Point Pelee in his early 20’s he knew it would become a part of his yearly plans and has been coming ever since. When he is not birding in Muskoka or Algonquin Park he can be found hard at work fixing bikes at Muskoka Bicycle Pro Shop. Whether it is slow birding at his favorite local hotspot or chasing a rarity across the province, Dale spends most of his free time out looking at birds. Often with his family in tow.
