About Leader
Stewart is an avid birder with over 30 years experience, and has birded in over 20 countries globally, as well as all 10 Provinces. In addition to being a hike leader for Friends of Point Pelee, he is a birding guide for OFO, as well as for the Peterborough and Waterloo Clubs. He has participated in Christmas Bird counts and will lead Nature Walks this Year for the CNIB, where he will assist the Visually Impaired with identifying birds through sound. Stewart considers his annual trip to Point Pelee as one of the year's highlights, and hopes to share his enthusiasm for the wonders of the avian world during the Festival of Birds, with both novice and experienced birders alike.
