About Leader
Stewart is an avid birder, with 35 years experience birding at Point Pelee. He has birded in 25 Countries as well as all 10 Provinces. In addition to being a hike leader for the Friends of Point Pelee, Stewart leads Outings for the Kitchener Waterloo, Carden and Kawartha Field Naturalists. He also enjoys leading Outings for the Visually Impaired on behalf of the CNIB, where he identifies birds strictly by sound. He considers his annual trip to Point Pelee as his Birding Highlight of the Year and enjoys sharing his enthusiasm for the Avian World, with both novice and experienced birders alike.
