Description: Graduate students from the University of Windsor will lead guided birding hikes for all ages. Participants will learn how to spot and identify local birds while exploring the area with experienced researchers. Reese studies anthropogenic noise effects on freshwater fish behaviour, Kristine studies bat social communication, Jo studies vocal amplitude in songbirds, and Isabella studies beneficial insects in commercial greenhouses. No previous birding experience is needed! Price is included with admission, but pre-registration is required as space is limited.
