Description: Recently, apps like eBird and Merlin have helped boost citizen-science partnerships in ways that have never been seen before. If that’s the case, why does avian decline feel so hopeless? In this series of vignettes, the presenters talk through what it means to have hope in times of app-focused attention on birds, and offer art-based examples of how to count on birds in order to continue both digital and analog coalition-building in the name of conservation.
